Office Manager

Working on behalf of our client who are a professional services company based near Tewkesbury we are looking for an experienced Administrator / Office Manager to join their friendly team.  A varied role where you can really use your ability to multitask supporting colleagues in a busy yet informal environment, where initiative and innovation are encouraged.

Helping us with a range of support functions and office reception.  You will work closely with senior managers who will rely on your accuracy, organisational skills and professionalism.

Some of the responsibilities of your role will include:

  • Managing the premises and office facilities, including maintenance
  • Acting as first point of contact for our ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditation, arranging audits and providing supporting documentation as required.
  • Managing company staff travel bookings, to include negotiating corporate hotel and travel rates
  • Ordering and managing office supplies
  • Managing company days and organising other staff events
  • Supporting the business with HR administration, recruitment administration and new starter inductions.
  • Office Reception duties - dealing with visitors and callers
  • Supporting with project administration tasks as appropriate.
  • Preparation of training booklets and other project support materials
  • Support for the Head of BD in sourcing design and ordering of marketing materials.

Key skills/experience required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to be professionally assertive as required, while showing tact and respect
  • Ideally some experience in; Fire safety and marshalling, First Aid, HR, H&S, QMS framework requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Effective and flexible time management, with the ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines
  • A one-team attitude, with the ability to support your colleagues and the business
  • British Citizen who is happy to undergo security clearance – essential
