Accounts/Finance Administrator

We are recruiting for a local Tewkesbury company who are looking to recruit an experienced finance administrator with excellent all round accounting experience to join their small friendly office team.

The role:

  • Using Xero to maintain accounts for multiple companies
  • Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers and bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT return
  • Entering & processing data to correct ledger/nominal code
  • General accounts functions – preparing records for year-end submission to accountant
  • Assist in the production of financial reports and budgeting
  • Processing and managing card and cash payments

Requirements:

  • Previously experience working in an Accounts / Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • AAT qualified or the equivalent by experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

This is a varied and interesting job and an important role within the business.  As a valued Team member, you will be working in a small team keeping all accounts and finances updated for the 3 divisions within the organisation.   It is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant looking for a new opportunity to work in a company that value their people.

There will be an option to do some hybrid working after training.

Full time (35hours per week) Monday to Friday; Salary c£30K
