Sales Administrator

Tewkesbury, Permanent, Full time

Salary £28/30k doe.

 

Our established Tewkesbury-based client is seeking an experienced Sales Administrator. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role within the technical engineering sector; knowledge of electronic components would be advantageous.

 

Purpose of this role:

Support customer by processing orders, managing customer accounts, and handling office paperwork to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Start-to-finish orders management, pre- and post-order customer service (priority: customer care, satisfaction, and retention).

Supporting with business development activities when time allows

 

·    Order Processing

Entering customer purchase orders, checking pricing, and verifying payment details.

·       Generating Quotes

Promptly following a customer enquiry. Liaising with suppliers both internal and external to ensure the best delivery. Following up quotes

·    Customer Support

Answering phone or email queries regarding product availability, delivery dates, and after-sales care.

·    Record Keeping

Updating CRM system, maintaining accurate sales files, and generating periodic reports.

·    Department Coordination

Communicating with despatch, manufacturing and finance teams to ensure on-time shipments and invoicing

·       General

  Any other duties which the employee may be required to perform by their line manager or MD

 

Required Skills:

·        Previous experience of working in a busy sales admin role

·        Written and verbal communication skills – clear and precise

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), strong organization, clear telephone communication, and attention to detail.

·        Inter-personal skills and the ability to liaise Ability to work in a team

·        Ability to follow instructions

·        Ability to manage own workload in a timely manner

·        Efficiency of sales admin

On site parking available. Hours 8.45-4.45 Monday to Thursday and 3.15pm finish on a Friday.
