Accounts Administrator

Our Tewkesbury based client has a requirement for an experienced Account Assistant for a full time permanent basis. Salary £23/27k depending on experience. Great opportunity to join a thriving business with a great team!

Responsibilities:

  • Record and reconcile account transactions accurately.
  • Ensure compliance.
  • Take responsibility for the clients you manage, ensuring high-quality service.
  • Oversee and support junior staff, including providing holiday cover.
  • Work across multiple clients on various software platforms.
  • Perform general housekeeping and tackle ad hoc duties as they arise.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounts assistant role
  • Desired qualifications include AAT level 4 or above
  • Proficiency with legal software is desired but not essential
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
